The guys go over 3 of the 6 major E3 2016 Press Conferences. They tackle Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, and Bethesda this week. Talking points include what is known about these conferences and companies with a ton of speculation, rumors, and more thrown in to create a rousing conversation. At the end of the show they also make their predictions for each of these conferences.
In news this week the guys discuss trailers for Digital Devolver's new game Absolver and Ghost Recon: Wildlands, as well as talking about Microsoft supposedly releasing two new Xbox One consoles over the next two years. Their topics for the show include Jerrad's Doom impressions, Dominic's dislike of multiplayer, and Jordan wants to know our pre-E3 2016 thoughts/excitement.
This week features the guys talking about Disney shutting down Infinity and publishing as a whole to license their IP out. In other news, we discuss Kojima using a third party engine, Destiny's new DLC, and what's next for Rockstar. Jordan brings up why we own the current generation. Dominic finishes it off with his impressions of Pokemon Y after not playing a Pokemon game for 15 years.
Plenty of announcements this week including the new Pokemon starters for Sun/Moon, Assassin's Creed movie trailer went live, and Civ 6 is a thing and it's coming out in 2016. Uncharted 4 was released this week and man is our conversation interesting. Dominic believes that it is a 10/10 masterpiece, Jordan thinks Naughty Dog is overrated even though he thinks Uncharted 4 is a fine game, and Jerrad thinks Drake is biting Lara Croft's style. What an episode.
In news this week Activision's CEO came out and defended the Call of Duty, as well as Watchdogs 2 was victim to an unfortunate "leak". The Overwatch Beta released publicly last week on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Jerrad talks about why Overwatch is so great. Dominic discusses Digital vs. Physical video game ownership and why he is still mostly physical. Lastly Jordan wants to talk about this rumored Sucker Punch Spider-Man game that sounds way too good to be true.
Alienation was released this week to plenty of critically positive reviews. Jordan gives the guys his impressions of Housemarque's newest title and explains why it's a must play/buy for the PS4. They also discuss which franchises need to go away for awhile and what are their most memorable boss fights in recent memory.
